대학원 영어교육 (TESOL: Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) 프로그램은 영어교육분야의

이론적 지식과 실용적 역량을 갖춘 한국의 영어교육을 선도할 수 있는 교육전문가를 양성하는데 목적이 있다. 과학 기술의 발전과 더불어 변화된 시대적 흐름에 부흥하며 창의적이고 독립적인 교육을 실현하기 위해

다양한 분야에서 전문적 역량을 길러 나간다. 영어교육 전공생은 세 전문영역 (제2언어습득분야, 영문법/

코퍼스/말하기 분야 그리고 영어담화분야)와 영어교육 실습분야로 나누어 수강하게 된다.

The TESOL Program at Sogang is designed to help students become experts in English education with theoretical knowledge and practical competence. With the advent of 4th industrial revolution, English education experts needs to accommodate and apply technological development to cultivate independent and critical thinking in their students. To realize this goal, the TESOL program focuses on the following area such as Teaching methods, SLA (Second Language Acquisition), Spoken and Written Discourse, English Grammar, English Corpus, English Speaking and English Teaching Practicum.
