박 은 성
(Park, Eun Sung)

현재 서강대 영문과 교수. 미국 콜럼비아 대학교에서 TESOL석사, 응용언어학 박사학위를 취득하고 Monterey 국제대학원 (현재 Middlebury 국제대학원) MATESOL/TFL과정 방문교수로 재직했다.

세부전공 및 연구분야는 제2언어습득론(SLA)이다. 특히 classroom teaching과 관련된 Instructed SLA, 그리고 SLA이론과 실제 interface에 관심이 많다. 대학원에서는 SLA와 관련된 연구 중심의

수업을 맡고 있다.

Eun Sung Park is Professor in the English Department at Sogang University. Her research interests include instructed SLA and the interface of theory and practice in language learning and teaching. Prior to joining Sogang, she taught in the MATESOL/TFL Program at the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Her recent work includes articles in Applied Linguistics, Language Learning, Language Awareness, Language Teaching Research, Journal of Language, Identity & Education, and Language and Intercultural Communication. She also co-edited ‘English Education at the Tertiary Level in Asia: From Policy to Practice’ (2017, Routledge).    

유 원 호
(Yoo, Isaiah WonHo)

현재 서강대 영문과에서 교수로 재직 중이며 1998년 미국UC 버클리에서 심리학 학사, 2003년 UCLA에서 응용언어학 박사를 취득한 뒤 2006년까지는 MIT 외국어과 영어교육부에서 교편을

잡았다. 미국 Syracuse 대학과 서강대학교 전임교수직 사이에서 고민하던 중 MIT에서 유교수의

수업을 청강하였던 한 교환 교수님의 말씀을 듣고 한국 영어교육에 대한 사명감으로 귀국을 결심

하게 되었다. "미국에서 영어를 가르칠 사람은 많지만 한국에는 선생님 같은 분이 꼭 필요합니다."
After an undergraduate psychology education at UC Berkeley, Prof. Yoo earned a Ph.D. in applied linguistics from UCLA and taught EAP for three years at MIT before coming to Sogang University. His research focuses on how corpus linguistics informs language pedagogy. His recent publications have appeared in TESOL Quarterly, Applied Linguistics, the Journal of Second Language Writing, the Journal of Pragmatics, Language Acquisition, and Linguistic Inquiry.     

이 요 안
(Lee, Yo-An)

현재 서강대 영문과 교수로서 2001년 미국 오하이오주립대에서 영어교육과 담화분석으로 박사

학위를 취득한후 5년간 미국 DePaul대학에서 Bilingual-Bicultural Education에서 전임교수직을

역임하였다. 2007년부터 서강대 영문과에서 영어교육과 대화분석 그리고 영어로 주장하는 글쓰기 과목을 강의하고 있다. 국제저명학술지인 TESOL Quarterly를 거쳐 현재는 System과 Classroom Discourse의 편집위원을 맡고 있다. 연구분야로는 실시간 대화분석, Human-Computer Interface

그리고 영어 논리및 논술이 있다.
Yo-An Lee is a faculty member of the English department at Sogang University in South Korea. Informed by ethnomethodology and conversation analysis, his research concerns face-to-face interactions, classroom discourse, composition and human-computer interface. He worked for DePaul university as a tenured track member for 5 years before coming to Sogang University. He has published work in Applied Linguistics, TESOL Quarterly, Journal of Pragmatics, Modern Language Journal, Text & Talk, System and Discours Processes. He is currently on the editorial board member for System.
